
Aman Chauhan won gold medal in Asian Power Lifting Championship, ASP honoured him.
Una, September 9- Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Una Sanjeev Bhatia today (Tuesday) honoured Aman Chauhan, gold medalist in 120 kg category of Asian Power Lifting Championship, in his office. He said that this achievement is a matter of pride for entire Himachal Pradesh. He said that Aman is a source of inspiration for the coming future generation and his dedication and hard work is an example for all those youth who want to make their future in sports.

Aman Chauhan credited his guru Jeevan Kumar and his parents for this achievement. Along with this, he also thanked Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Sports Minister Yadavindra Goma and SC Commission for encouragement in promoting sports activities in the state.
Let us tell you, Aman Chauhan belongs to Lambagaon of Kangra district. He won the gold medal in the 120 kg weight category in the Asian Power Lifting Championship held in Kathmandu, Nepal from 16 to 18 August. Talented players from different countries participated in this championship in which Aman Chauhan won this gold medal on the basis of his excellent performance.
