
Krishi Vigyan Kendra organizes animal welfare camp in flood-hit village Kolian
Hoshiarpur- PAU Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bahowal, in collaboration with the Animal Husbandry Department, organized an animal welfare camp in flood-hit village Kolian, Block Mukerian. On this occasion, Assistant Professor (Agricultural Engineering) Dr. Ajaib Singh of PAU Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bahowal shared agricultural advice and contingency crop planning tips for flood-hit areas.

while Associate Professor (Animal Science) Dr. Parminder Singh shared tips on the management of dairy cattle in flood-hit areas. Senior Veterinary Officer from Animal Husbandry Department Mukerian, Dr. Harinder Pal Gojra emphasized the importance of vaccination of cattle for proper prevention of diseases in dairy cattle.
During the camp, livestock farmers in the flood-affected areas were given medicines for stomach worms, ticks and other essential medicines. Other officers of the Animal Husbandry Department Block Mukerian, Dr. Sukhjinder Singh, Dr. Krishan Kumar and Dr. Navneet Attri were also present in this camp.
