Ambedkar Institute of Careers and Courses, Mohali to conduct Special Crash Course for PCS Preliminary Exam

SAS Nagar, September 19, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Ms. Komal Mittal, informed that the Ambedkar Institute of Careers and Courses, Phase 3B-II, Mohali, being run by Punjab Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Department, would conduct a two-month special crash course for the PCS Preliminary Examination.

SAS Nagar, September 19, 2025: Deputy Commissioner Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Ms. Komal Mittal, informed that the Ambedkar Institute of Careers and Courses, Phase 3B-II, Mohali, being run by Punjab Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Department, would conduct a two-month special crash course for the PCS Preliminary Examination.
The course will commence from October 3, 2025, to December 2, 2025, and a total of 40 seats have been earmarked (20 for SC, 12 for BC, and 8 for Minority candidates). The coaching is completely free of cost and hostel accommodation will also be provided.
Applications can be submitted offline or via email ([email protected]) by September 26, 2025. An entrance test will be conducted on September 30, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Eligible, Graduate candidates should be from Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes and Minorities (i.e. Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Bodhis, Zoroastrians and Jains) category with Punjab domicile. The family income of the candidate from all the sources should not exceed Rs. 3.00 lakh per annum. 
Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Objective type test of Mental Ability, General Awareness (History, Geography, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Everyday Science, Current Events etc.) and Punjab G.K.
To encourage students, a monthly stipend will be given at the rate of Rs 1500 for local candidates and Rs 3000 for outstation candidates.
