
Workshop organized for assembly master trainers related to election process
Una, 24 April:- In view of the Lok Sabha elections and two assembly by-elections, a one-day training workshop for 35 assembly master trainers was organized in DRDA Hall on Wednesday. The workshop was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahendra Pal Gurjar. ADC instructed all the officers and employees present in the training workshop to take this important workshop seriously and clarify all their doubts during it.

ADC instructed all the officers and employees present in the training workshop to take this important workshop seriously and clarify all their doubts during it.
ADC said that officers and employees play an important role in successfully conducting the elections in a clean, honest and peaceful manner. Every time some new rules and guidelines are implemented in elections, hence officers and employees who have participated in election related duties many times in the past also need to listen carefully and understand every information being given in this election training workshop. . He said that India is a strong democratic country in the world and free and fair elections are the basic basis of its progress. He said that election related duty is the highest and most important duty of any person towards the country and democracy, hence every person should perform the election duty with complete devotion and honesty.
During the training workshop, assembly master trainers were provided with technical information on operation of EVM, sorting, mock poll, VVPAT, VU and CU so that the elections could be conducted in a better manner.
377 polling booths will be monitored through webcasting.
There will be special facilities for disabled people and senior citizens
Mahendra Pal Gurjar said that 516 polling booths have been made for voting in the district, out of which webcasting is being done at 377 polling booths. Apart from this, health workers, NSS and NCC volunteers will be deployed at the polling booths for the convenience of senior citizens and disabled persons so that they do not face any inconvenience while casting their vote.
