Una, November 18 - Under the special program 'Samarthya' of Una district administration dedicated to the empowerment of women and youth, a 7-day free training camp will be organized at Government Degree College Haroli to teach self-defense techniques to girls and women. 
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that this training camp will start from November 20 in which girls will be trained in self-defense as well as health, fitness, morale development and practical experience. Trained and experienced experts will make women proficient in self-defense techniques, which will not only empower them, but will also make them feel self-reliant and safe.

All women can participate, register by November 19
The Deputy Commissioner said that along with school-college students, housewives and working women can also participate in this training camp. He said that interested girls and women can get themselves registered by 19 November by contacting the principal of their nearest government college.
