
Two day workshop on child friendly legal services and protection scheme concluded
Una, 6 December: The two-day workshop organized under the Child Friendly Legal Services and Protection Scheme 2024 concluded today on Friday in the conference room of DLSA under the chairmanship of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Secretary Anita Sharma.

During this, DLSA Secretary Anita Sharma said that the main objective of organizing the two-day workshop was to bring public awareness. She urged people from all sections of the society to perform their duties in a sensitive manner towards children. She said that the progress of the country and society depends on the development of children.
She emphasized on disseminating information related to the Child Friendly Legal Services and Protection Scheme, 2024 to children kept out of the mainstream of society. He directed to convey this message to all levels of society through para-legal volunteers.
Apart from this, he informed that under the Child Friendly Service Scheme, a legal service unit has been formed for children, which includes DLSA Secretary, retired District and Sessions Judge, Panel Advocate and PLV.
