The strike of sanitation workers has ended due to the efforts of MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa.

Hoshiarpur- MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that the strike of sanitation workers, which has been going on in Hoshiarpur city for the past several days, has now ended. He said that yesterday, a meeting of the sanitation workers union was held with Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, in which the union representatives presented their demands in detail.

Hoshiarpur- MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that the strike of sanitation workers, which has been going on in Hoshiarpur city for the past several days, has now ended. He said that yesterday, a meeting of the sanitation workers union was held with Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, in which the union representatives presented their demands in detail.
MLA Jimpa said that during the meeting, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora assured the union officials that all their legitimate demands would be fulfilled on priority basis. He clarified that the Punjab government is fully sensitive to the welfare of the workers and the convenience of the public and any issue will be resolved through dialogue and mutual understanding.
Thanking the sanitation workers, MLA Jimpa said that they have decided to end the strike considering the concerns of the public. He stressed that the hard work and contribution of the sanitation workers is very important for the cleanliness and health system of the city. He directed the Municipal Corporation officials to immediately restore cleanliness in the city and prioritize the disposal of garbage accumulated during the strike so that any health problem can be prevented.
MLA Zimpa assured that the Punjab government will make every possible effort to fulfill the demands of the employees and ensure uninterrupted public services. He said that a clean and healthy Hoshiarpur is his priority. Mayor Surinder Kumar and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
