Teej festival was celebrated at Sikh National College Banga.

Banga/Nawanshahr- Teej festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Sikh National College Banga under the guidance of Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder Ji. On this occasion, the renowned personality of the area, Aam Aadmi Party's Organization In-charge and Secretary of Women's Wing, Madam Harjot Lohtia Ji, attended as the chief guest.

Along with them, Jain Model School Vice Principal Madam Kamal and Junior Wing In-charge Madam Amandeep Saini also attended as special guests. They were welcomed by the students of the Cultural Wing with the beat of drums. Saying a warm welcome with flowers, College Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder Ji congratulated everyone on the occasion of Teej and motivated the students to participate in maximum cultural activities.
The students of the art and cultural wing of the school and college gave beautiful performances of various types of Trijhan songs, folk songs, folk dances. Competitions related to folk costumes of young women were also organized and the young women who stood first, second and third were also honored. The folk costumes were judged by Dr. Kamaldeep Kaur, Dr. Davinder Kaur and Prof. Neelam.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest Madam Lohtia ji, remembering her student life, inspired the students to work in the spirit of maximum cooperation. The responsibility of conducting the stage was carried out by Dr. Nirmaljit Kaur and Prof. Tajinder Singh. The entire staff of the school and college was present on this occasion.
