Teachers were honored on the 173rd birth anniversary of Dr. Louis Braille, who developed the Braille script

Hoshiarpur- Today, on the occasion of the 173rd birth anniversary of Dr. Louis Braille (born 04 January 1809 and died 06 January 1852), who developed the Braille script, on the completion of 200 years of Braille script for the blind, Alliance Club International District 119 organized a program in honor of the teacher of Braille script at 108 Sant Narayan Das Blind School Bahowal. District Governor Ali Ramesh Kumar, PDG Ali Advocate SP Rana, Advocate Narendra Kumar Joshi and Ali Ashok Puri arrived specially on this occasion.

While celebrating the 173rd birth anniversary of Dr. Louis Braille, his great gift to the blind was discussed. This script born 200 years ago has still not reached many blind people. Principal of this blind school Ms. Malti Devi from Alliance Club; Braille teacher Chandrabhan and institute president Attar Singh were honoured with the Louis Braille Award.
On this occasion, associate Ashok Puri said that a blind cricket tournament was organised between the teams of Punjab and Delhi on the birthday of Dr. Louis Burrell, which is a very good work. The entire team of Alliance Club was appreciated for this effort of this organisation for the development of the blind. Ali Advocate SP Rana, Narendra Kumar Joshi, Ali Ashok Puri and District Governor Ali Ramesh Kumar were honoured for the contribution made by Ali Ramesh Kumar and his associates in organising the tournament.
After this, the song written by Attar Singh ji, "Jin ke mahaan kaam ne humne insaan bana diya, Param pita parmeshwar ne humein farishta bana diya" was sung by the blind students. At the end of the programme, the institute's president Attar Singh ji thanked associate Ashok Puri and the representatives of Alliance Club for their contribution in the awareness campaign of the blind society in social service works. And requested them to continue working in the same way in future as well. The main organiser of this programme was Yogesh Kumar.
