
Condemnation of transfer of handicapped Naib Tehsildar to remote area.
Ghanur, April 23- Leaders of Joint Handicapped Front Punjab Onkar Sharma Sogalpur, Hans Raj Sarla, Lakhwinder Singh Sarla condemned the transfer of blind Naib Tehsildar Ranjit Kaur (who hails from Mansa) to Sub Tehsil Ghanur in District Patiala and said that on the orders of Supreme Court, under RPWD Act 2016, a handicapped employee is given a station near his residence, but the honorable government has transferred him for violating the rules.
Ghanur, April 23- Leaders of Joint Handicapped Front Punjab Onkar Sharma Sogalpur, Hans Raj Sarla, Lakhwinder Singh Sarla condemned the transfer of blind Naib Tehsildar Ranjit Kaur (who hails from Mansa) to Sub Tehsil Ghanur in District Patiala and said that on the orders of Supreme Court, under RPWD Act 2016, a handicapped employee is given a station near his residence, but the honorable government has transferred him for violating the rules.
The leaders demanded that this transfer be cancelled immediately. The leaders said that Mann government should not have given relief to the handicapped, on the contrary, the handicapped are being harassed for struggling with disability and getting a job on the basis of their merit. They said that if Mann government does not cancel this transfer, then a fierce struggle will be done against the highhandedness of the government.
