*Srujan-Vichar Se Vistar Tak program organized in Una College*

Una, June 20- With the aim of promoting entrepreneurship and innovation among the youth, a special program was organized on Friday at Government College Una with the theme 'Srujan - Vichar Se Vistar Tak'. This program was organized in collaboration with Technology Business Incubator Foundation, IIT Ropar and local self-help groups.

This program was organized in collaboration with Technology Business Incubator Foundation, IIT Ropar and local self-help groups.
Its objective was to inspire women and youth of rural areas for entrepreneurship and provide a suitable platform to promote innovation.
Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal attended the program as the chief guest. During this, the Deputy Commissioner inspired the participants to move forward in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship.
He said that such programs play an important role in empowering the youth and the local community to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, put innovation into practice, and towards self-reliance and sustainable economic development. He said that the government is trying to connect rural and urban youth with modern technologies, startup culture and business skills so that they can start their own businesses and also provide employment to others.
Before this, he inaugurated the program with lighting of the lamp.
On this occasion, the Principal of the college, Dr. Meeta Sharma, welcomed all the guests and emphasized the need for innovation, self-employment and self-reliance in the present times.
Dr. Mrityunjay Singh and Divyansh Thakur from Triple IT Una shared the ground level technical perspective on the role of Artificial Intelligence and Information Technology.
Along with this, in the program, BDO K.L. Verma BDO shared the practical journey of self-help groups and their challenges.
At the same time, Satyam Sharma, CEO of Technology Business Incubator Foundation (IIT Ropar), while sharing his views on the role of technology and innovation in rural development, told how technological solutions can strengthen the rural economy.
During the startup pitching session organized in the program, women entrepreneurs from Una, Haroli, Gagret and Bangana blocks presented business ideas on their innovation. Along with this, certificates were distributed to the students of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cell.
On this occasion, Vice Principal Punit Kanwar, MCA Department Coordinator Shashi Kanwar, BCA Department Coordinator Madan Lal, Event Coordinator Rash Pal, faculty members and others were present.
