Reflector belts given to traffic and PCR personnel deployed on night duty in winter

Speaking on the occasion, SSP Shri Deepak Pareek said that there will be fog in the next few days, in view of which about 500 safety belts have been distributed to the policemen deployed on duty in the morning and night. He said that these blue belts shine from a distance and these steps have been taken to curb road accidents and to ensure that the policemen do not face any kind of trouble during duty.
He said that in the coming days, the police personnel posted in police stations who are on duty at nakas till late night will also be given the said safety belts. He said that people should also install reflectors on their vehicles so that accidents can be avoided while leaving home at night and in the morning.
He praised this initiative of SP Traffic Headquarters Harinder Singh Mann and DSP Naveenpal Singh Lahil and said that this will make it easier for the police personnel to manage the traffic during duty. At the same time, this message will reach the common people that how they can improve their safety in the winter season.
