This bill will not only save the youth of the country from the clutches of online gambling and addiction, but will also lay the foundation of a structured, responsible and innovation-based gaming industry. Lakhs of families were being affected by this type of addiction and fraud. Now such apps and websites that promoted games like betting, rummy, poker, lottery will be completely closed.
He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party does not only make laws, but works at every level to make the society safe and empowered. This law is part of the resolution of the Modi government which includes making 'Digital India' safe, transparent and public welfare. "
