Chandigarh, September 22 - Haryana Tourism Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma said that Kurukshetra is known all over the world due to its religious and tourism aspects. Along with this holy land Kurukshetra, Haryana is undergoing all-round development in every field and the state government is working on many schemes for tourism in Kurukshetra.
Tourism Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma had reached Shaktipeeth Maa Bhadrakali Temple, Kurukshetra on Monday to offer prayers on the first Navratri. Here, the Tourism Minister offered prayers as per the tradition and paid obeisance at the Shaktipeeth.
The Tourism Minister, while congratulating the people of the state on Navratri as well as Dussehra, Diwali and other festivals, said that every citizen of the state should visit the Shaktipeeth Maa Bhadrakali Temple of Kurukshetra to seek the blessings of the mother for peace, happiness and prosperity. After receiving the blessings of the mother from this temple, every person's wish will be fulfilled.
He said that due to the Shaktipeeth Maa Bhadrakali Temple, Kurukshetra and other religious and tourist places, it has a different identity not only in the country but also abroad. Work is being done on many projects to develop this religious place Kurukshetra in view of tourism.
He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, the all-round development of the state of Haryana is taking place. This government has worked to give a distinct identity to not only Kurukshetra but also Haryana as a tourism hub. During the tenure of this government, work has been done to implement many welfare schemes for farmers, laborers, women, employees and senior citizens.
