Garhshankar, August 22 - As per the instructions of the Punjab Government and the Education Department, under the Samriddhi Program, teaching competitions were organized for teachers of various schools of Block Garhshankar-1 and Garhshankar-2 at School of Eminence Garhshankar. Organized under the leadership of Block Nodal Officer Garhshankar-1-cum-Principal School of Eminence Garhshankar Mrs. Seema Budhiraja, teachers of various schools of Block Garhshankar-1 and Garhshankar-2 participated enthusiastically in these competitions.
In these competitions, teachers used special use of TLM and methods to make education interesting and presented education effectively and made it entertaining for the students. The judging role in these competitions was played by Headmaster Sandeep Singh Badesro, Math Mistress Miss Mandeep and Computer Faculty Mrs. Jyoti Nautiyal.
In these teaching competitions, Hindi Master Hardeep Kumar of Government High School Dagham, Block Garhshankar-2, secured first place, Subhash Gangar Government High School Birampur secured second place and Science Master Gurvinder Singh of Government Senior Secondary School Paddi Sura Singh from Block Garhshankar-1 secured first place and Lecturer Navjot Singh of School of Eminence Garhshankar secured second place.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Mrs. Seema Budhi Raja appreciated the efforts made by the teachers and wished for such achievements in the future and honored the teachers who came in first and second place in Block Garhshankar-1 and Garhshankar-2 by giving trophies. On this occasion, BRC Science Shri Anupam Sharma and BRC Mathematics Shri Ram Saroop were also present along with other staff.
