Releasing the proceedings of this gathering to the press, General Secretary of the Sabha Pawan Kumar Bhammian said that in this gathering the 45th wedding anniversary of Professor Sandhu Varyanvi, General Secretary of the Central Punjabi Writers' Association Registered (Sekhon) and the birthday of Avtar Singh Pakhowal are shared. It was celebrated and the ideas related to the current period of literature were discussed. The gathering welcomed the government's decision to teach Punjabi as a compulsory subject in the schools of Punjab.
