Hoshiarpur- District Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer Ramandeep Kaur said that District Employment and Entrepreneurship Bureau-cum-Model Career Center Hoshiarpur organized a career guidance program for the students of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th regarding their future career choice at Victoria International School and Dashmesh Public School Mukeria.
While initiating this career guidance program, Career Counselor Vishal Chawla told the students about the importance of Employment Bureau and provided information about the facilities provided by Employment Bureau such as career counseling for the future career of children, education in various streams, ITI courses, diploma and degree courses. Similarly, detailed information was given about the job opportunities provided by the Placement Cell, free internet facility provided by the Employment Bureau, information about self-employment schemes, short-term technical courses.
Apart from this, information was also given about various jobs of the Punjab Government and jobs in the banking sector. After this, Department of Career Guidance Lovely Professional University Phagwara Varun Nayyar while addressing the students said that students should do those courses, which are needed in the present time. With this, they can not only find a job in their favorite field, but if they want, they can also start their own business.
During this career guidance program, all the staff and 376 students of both the schools concerned participated very enthusiastically. On this occasion, Principal Victoria International School Mukeria and Principal Dasmesh Public School Mukeria expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the District Employment and Entrepreneurship Bureau Hoshiarpur and asked them to organize such seminars in the future as well.
