Garhshankar- The historical auspicious place of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji's auspicious place of penance was changed from village Khurali to Sri Khuralgarh Sahib. For which all the panchayat members under the leadership of Sarpanch Ranjit Sood congratulated Deputy Speaker Jai Krishan Singh Raudi and BDPO Garhshankar Manjinder Kaur.
Giving information to the journalists, Sarpanch Ranjit Singh Sood said that the village panchayat had passed a resolution on May 15 with the support of all the villagers. In which Shingara Singh played an important role. He said that in a short time, the name of Khurali was changed to Sri Khuralgarh Sahib. In which Deputy Speaker Jai Krishan Singh Raudi played an important role.
He issued orders to the high officials to complete this work soon. After which the notification was issued on June 2. Sarpanch Ranjit Sood and all the panchayat members thanked Deputy Speaker Jai Krishan Singh Raudi and BDPO Manjinder Kaur for completing this work within a period of two months.
On this occasion, Sarpanch Ranjit Sood was accompanied by Superintendent Jeevan Lal, Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Secretary Sukhwinder Singh Sodhi, Balwinder Singh Raman APO, Sarpanch Vinod Kumar Bassi, Satnam Singh, Santokh Singh, Gurdeep Singh Panch, Paramjit Kaur Panch, Rajesh Kumar, Vipan Kumar etc.
