Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, August 7: District Magistrate Mrs. Komal Mittal, in exercise of the powers vested in her under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Protection Code-2023, has issued orders prohibiting the gathering of 5 or more persons within 100 meters of the Punjab School Education Board examination centers established in District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar.
According to the District Magistrate, as per the information received from the Chairman, Punjab School Education Board, from 08.08.2025 to 29.08.2025 in the morning session from 11.00 am to 2.15 pm, examinations are being conducted by the Punjab School Education Board for the 10th and 12th class August 2025 supplementary examinations (compartment/re-appearance, including open school) at the examination centers (Dasmesh Khalsa Public Senior Secondary School, Phase 3B1, SAS Nagar and Government Model Senior Secondary School Phase 3B1 SAS).
For the smooth conduct of the examination, these orders have been issued to impose Section 163 of the BNSS around the examination center and also to take legal action against the elements causing disruption, and to maintain smooth traffic arrangements.
