Chandigarh- Haryana Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Minister Shyam Singh Rana said that Major Dhyanchand is a name in the Indian sports world, who is known as the magician of hockey all over the world. The Agriculture Minister was addressing the players as the chief guest in the Sports Day program organized by the District Sports Department and District Administration at Tejli Sports Complex in Yamunanagar. He said that if children have an inclination towards sports, then they can stay away from evils like drugs.
He said that if we stay away from evils like drugs and focus our attention on sports, then success will definitely be achieved. Therefore, we should pledge to stay away from drugs. He said that staying away from drugs would be a true tribute to Major Dhyanchand ji. On this occasion, he also administered oath to children and young players to stay away from drugs.
