Best initiative of Photographers Club Hoshiarpur regarding voter awareness

Hoshiarpur - Everyone is excited about the elections to be held on June 1 in Punjab for the Lok Sabha elections. Similarly, Hoshiarpur Photographers Club of the district has resolved to open their shops at 12 noon on June 1, the day of voting, realizing their responsibility and has assured that they will open their shops only after voting with their family members by 12 noon. Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Rahul Chaba praised this initiative of Photographers Club and said that it is a unique initiative in itself.

While meeting the delegation of Photographers Club Hoshiarpur on Friday, the ADC said that the club has taken this resolution while playing the role of a responsible citizen. Rahul Chaba said that voting is the right of all of us in a democracy, every voter should use it. Photographers are also making efforts to get more votes. He said that this initiative of photographers will motivate the voters to vote. Club officials said that they would not only urge people to vote in hoardings outside their shops, but would also write that their shops would open after 12 noon on voting days. Meanwhile, club president Vined Kumar along with other colleagues released the print out to be placed outside their shops by ADC Rahul Chaba. It is worth mentioning that various programs are being organized by the district administration to motivate the voters of Hoshiarpur to vote. In some places, women and men voters are being made aware to cast their votes by organizing rangoli competitions, mehndi competitions and painting competitions.
