Una, 18 February- An awareness workshop is being organized regarding GST Amnesty Scheme and Himachal Pradesh Sadbhavana Inheritance Matter Solution. Joint Commissioner of State Tax and Excise Department Central Zone, Vinod Kashyap informed that this workshop will be held on 19 February at 11 am in Circuit House Una, in which departmental officers will give complete information about GST Amnesty Scheme to all taxpayers and GST businessmen.
Along with this, the solution of problems faced in taking advantage of the scheme will be ensured. Apart from this, under the GST Amnesty Scheme, such cases of the year 2017-18 to 2019-20, which are pending under Section 73 of the GST Act 2017, for taxpayers registered under the Goods and Services Tax Act 2017 in the 53rd GST Council of the Government of India, will also be settled. Vinod Kashyap informed that the Himachal Pradesh government has launched the Himachal Pradesh Sadbhavana Inheritance Matters Settlement Scheme for VAT taxpayers, under which, along with VAT, cases of other taxes which are not included in GST can also be settled once.
