
Haryana's education system gets recognition on the world stage.
Chandigarh, September 2 - Haryana Education Minister Mr. Mahipal Dhanda is participating in the UNESCO Digital Learning Week-2025 organized in Paris from September 1 to 5 at the invitation of UNESCO. This prestigious global event focuses on the future of education, digital learning, artificial intelligence and latest technologies, in which international organizations, policy makers, education experts and technical scholars have participated.
Chandigarh, September 2 - Haryana Education Minister Mr. Mahipal Dhanda is participating in the UNESCO Digital Learning Week-2025 organized in Paris from September 1 to 5 at the invitation of UNESCO. This prestigious global event focuses on the future of education, digital learning, artificial intelligence and latest technologies, in which international organizations, policy makers, education experts and technical scholars have participated.
On this occasion, the Education Minister held discussions with the Education Ministers and representatives of various countries and discussed the changes taking place in the education sector at the global level as per the vision of India's Education Policy 2020 by the state of Haryana. He said that the education policy in Haryana is being implemented from the same educational level, which will play an important role in realizing the vision of Digital India of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
He said that this proves that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini, the education system of the state is continuously touching new heights of progress and is making its mark on the global stage.
He said that Haryana has brought about revolutionary changes in the field of education by providing smart classrooms, e-learning content, digital labs, teacher training programs and technology-based learning opportunities for students in schools.
Mr. Dhanda said that the Haryana government is not keeping education limited to the traditional structure only, but is preparing students for the challenges of the future by adopting new technologies. He also mentioned that the Haryana government has implemented many innovations to ensure equal opportunities in digital education, especially keeping in mind the children of rural areas and underprivileged sections.
UNESCO's recognition of these vehicles of Haryana is a matter of pride for the state. This has not only increased the prestige of Haryana at the global level, but has also strengthened the reputation of the state among other stakeholders in the education world.
The highlight of the model presented by Haryana at the UNESCO Digital Learning Week was how the state focused on bridging the digital divide (DDD) and bridging the gap between government and private schools by using information technology and information and communication technology.
