Patiala, January 28- Youth Congress District Urban President Sanjeev Sharma Kalu has sharply criticized the claims of the Health Department and alleged that the claims of health revolution under the rule of Aam Aadmi Party have failed in the Health Minister's own city. After meeting the Resident Doctors Association of Government Rajindra Hospital here, Sanjeev Sharma Kalu said that people are facing problems in Malwa's biggest government hospital located in the Health Minister's own city, while the doctors serving there are also facing problems.
He alleged that instead of solving the problems, the Health Minister is scaring those who tell them. Sanjeev Sharma said that people from all over Malwa come to Patiala's Government Rajindra Hospital for treatment, but in the last two and a half years, the AAP government has only talked about the hospital. Due to such attitude, people are losing faith in this hospital. The most dangerous thing in the government hospital is the machines stopping during operation in the operation theater. This was not the first incident of power failure in the hospital, rather it has happened many times before.
Sanjeev Sharma Kalu said that such incidents have exposed the hollow claims of the Punjab government and the Health Minister and now Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh should resign from his post on moral grounds. He warned that if the health services are not improved in the coming days and the problems faced by the doctors are not resolved, then the Youth Congress will wage a fierce struggle against the Health Minister.
Dr. Mehtab Bal, Dr. Milanpreet Thind, former councilor Sewak Singh Jheel, Patiala constituency urban president Abhinav Sharma, Madhav Singla constituency rural president Ridham Sharma and others were present on this occasion.
