
Sri Sukhmani Sahib Paath was done under the series being run for the welfare of all.
Nawanshahr- A large number of devotees participated in today's Paath at the house of Parminder Singh Kanwal under the series of Sri Sukhmani Sahib Paath started by Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society this year for the welfare of all, progress of society and peace and happiness of family members. Along with the Paath of Sri Sukhmani Sahib in the form of Sangat, the recitation of Sodar Rehras Sahib Ji and Gurbani Kirtan were also done by the devotees in a group.

Along with the Paath of Sri Sukhmani Sahib in the form of Sangat, the recitation of Sodar Rehras Sahib Ji and Gurbani Kirtan were also done by the devotees in a group.
After the conclusion, Ardaas was done for the happiness of all. Addressing the devotees on this occasion, the chief sevadar of the society, Surjit Singh said that during the series of monthly Paath of Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji, the Sangat is getting full support. The main objective of this series is to connect the Sangat with Gurbani and Gurmat Asha and to inspire the youth to connect with their glorious heritage.
He said that such efforts create a sense of religious and social service in every human being. On this occasion, the Sangat was told that with the grace of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib, Guru Nanak Mission Seva Society has purchased two and a half acres of land with the cooperation of the Sangat, in which Guru Nanak Bhawan will be constructed. He also said that like every year, this year also the annual Mahan Kirtan Darbar will be organized on 25, 26 and 27 October in the grounds of Khalsa School. Before this Kirtan Darbar, about 23-24 Gurmat Samagam will be organized in various villages of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Hoshiarpur and Ludhiana from 06 September to 11 October, like every year.
After the conclusion of the function, the society honored the Kanwal family and retired DSP Didar Singh before going on a foreign trip. Two members of the society, S. Kamaljit Singh Mehitpur and S. Baldeep Singh Kajampur were specially honored by the society on their retirement. On this occasion, Didar Singh said that even though he is going on a foreign trip for some time, he will continue to fully cooperate in the ongoing activities of the society. He said that next monthly Paath of Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji would be held in village Dhaul (Balachaur).
On the occasion, besides family members of Parminder Singh Kanwal, Jagjit Singh General Secretary, Jagdeep Singh Cashier, Tarlochan Singh Khatkar Kalan, Manmohan Singh Kanwal, Ranjit Singh C:Exian, Makhan Parpaga Retd: Manager, Surjit Puar Retd: Manager, Akshay Kanda, Gurmel Ram Bali, Mahinder Pal President Prince Enclave Society, Daljit Singh Kariha, Inderjit Singh Bahara, Haqiqat Singh, Jagjit Singh Bata, Ramnik Singh, Kuljit Singh Khalsa, Bakshish Singh Saini, Gurcharan Singh Pabla, Paramjit Singh Moosapur and Gurmukh Singh Sada Nawanshahr were also present.
