Patiala, March 8 - Haryana property dealer Sardar Mehar Singh, who passed away after suffering from brain hemorrhage for the last three years, offered his last prayers and tribute ceremony at Gurudwara Guru Harikrishna Sahib Ji Anand Nagar. In which hundreds of people from every section of the society offered him flowers of reverence.
Patiala, March 8 - Haryana property dealer Sardar Mehar Singh, who passed away after suffering from brain hemorrhage for the last three years, offered his last prayers and tribute ceremony at Gurudwara Guru Harikrishna Sahib Ji Anand Nagar. In which hundreds of people from every section of the society offered him flowers of reverence.
Addressing this tribute ceremony, Akali Dal District President and Sarpanch in-charge of Faridkot Lok Sabha constituency Randhir Singh Tharaj, Akali Dal Amritsar (Fateh) District President Bhupinder Singh Massingan and Mehar Singh's nephew Pritam Singh said that Mehar Singh is a leader at the grassroots level. A unique example of standing up and helping people has been presented to the society, of which no other example can be found. He said that in order to support his family, Mehar Singh left his studies midway and started a small business and established himself as a big property businessman in the form of Haryana Property Dealers. Not only did he raise his nephews and nieces and put them on their feet, he also always helped many people in the society. He always maintained friendship with his friends and made profits worth crores of rupees to countless people in the property business and yet remained humble. He said that thanks to Mehar's visionary thinking, today one of his sons is studying in Australia, one daughter in Canada and one son is studying MS after doing MBBS. Mehar Singh kept the entire family connected to good education and Gursikh life. The speakers also praised the service rendered by Sardar Mehar Singh's family during the three years, especially his wife Sardarni Baljit Kaur, sons Malkit Singh, Sandeep Singh and Harpreet Singh. On this occasion, elder son Malkit Singh was blessed by the Gurudwara Management Committee.
