During this, she gave information to the children about menstrual hygiene and made them aware about their eating habits and what they should take care of during the pandemic. Emphasizing on nutrition, he explained to the children that if our eating habits are right then anemia in children will go away.
Child Development Project Officer Kuldeep Dayal said that proper nutrition is necessary for a strong foundation. To realize the vision of a malnutrition-free India, it is necessary to provide proper nutrition to everyone. In this direction, the role of officers and employees of women and child development is important. The basic objective of the nutrition campaign is to make adolescents, teenagers, pregnant and lactating women aware about prescribed nutrition and to provide them proper nutrition. He gave detailed information to the children about Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign and informed the girls about good touch and bad touch.
He said that for the success of these programs, while public cooperation is necessary, inclusive participation of public representatives, school management committees, government departments, social organizations and all public and private sectors is required.
School Principal Kanchan Vala also informed the children about the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign. A painting competition was also organized for children in the awareness camp. In the painting competition, Shalini of class IX got first place, Niharika of class VIII got second place and Tanvi of class IX got third place. All the participants were honored by giving certificates.
On this occasion, Dr. Nisha Thakur from Ayurvedic Department, Supervisor Meenu Wala, Santosh Kumari, Kulveer Kaur, Naresh Devi, Nanaki Devi, Nutrition Block Coordinator Gurmukh Singh, school teacher Sunil Mehta and teacher Neelam Chabba, Ward Panch Madhu Bala and Rita were present in the camp. Devi, Anganwadi workers and others were present.
