Una, February 14 - Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal unveiled the statue of Mata Saraswati at Kendriya Vidyalaya Saloh on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami and also made offerings in the Havan programme. The Deputy Commissioner also congratulated and wished everyone on Basant Panchami.
On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner spent some moments with the school children and talked to them on various topics. He inspired the children to respect their parents and teachers and work in the interest of the society and the country.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal also inspected the newly constructed building of Kendriya Vidyalaya. He said that the Kendriya Vidyalaya building was prepared keeping in mind the modern facilities so that children can get a good environment to provide proper and qualitative education. He also called upon the school teachers to provide good education to the children so that they can easily shape their future. He said that the district administration will also provide its full support for the progress of the school.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Principal Neelam Guleria welcomed the chief guest and other guests. Apart from this, cultural programs like Saraswati Vandana, group dance etc. were presented by school children.
