Garhshankar - The X Servicemen Social Welfare Trust Garhshankar is celebrating 'Saragarhi Diwas' on 13th like every year dedicated to the martyrs of Saragarhi. President of the Trust Captain Amarjit Singh Gulpur and General Secretary Subedar Kewal Singh Bajjal and the members of the Trust told after the meeting regarding the event with the Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira at the local Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College. That this time the function dedicated to Saragarhi Day is being organized on September 13 at Khalsa College under the leadership of Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira with the support of all the staff and students.
He said that at 10 am, the event will be started with the recital of Sri Sukhmani Sahib and on this occasion, the college students will perform kirtan. After that, the history of the martyrs of Saragarhi should be presented to the congregation by the Dhadi Jathe.
