Nawanshahr- Taking a major step towards the empowerment of the youth of the district, Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Dhiman has announced the launch of a free training program in collaboration with the Red Cross Society. The initiative aims to promote a healthy and productive lifestyle among the youth and provide training to aspiring candidates preparing for competitive examinations like Police Recruitment, PCS, SI, Agniveer and Army.

Giving information in this regard, Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Dhiman said that this training camp is open to youth between the ages of 18 to 28 at ITI Ground, Nawanshahr. He said that the participants will be provided with comprehensive guidance including books, training materials, shoes and detailed information about the physical parameters required for these examinations. The main objective of the program is to engage the youth in meaningful and productive activities with emphasis on physical fitness, discipline and career-oriented development.
He said that by focusing on both the mental and physical development of the youth, the aim is to create a generation that is healthier, more self-reliant and better equipped to make a positive contribution to society. Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Dhiman said, “Our aim is to ensure that no aspiring candidate in the district is deprived of the opportunity to fulfill their dreams due to lack of resources or guidance.
He said that this program is not just about exam preparation but also to promote fitness and self-discipline among the youth. He said that this free training is a golden opportunity for the candidates to enhance their preparation under the supervision of experienced trainers. He said that this program will focus on the aspects of academic and physical fitness required for success in these exams.
He said that the timings of the training sessions will be from 9 to 11 am and from 4 to 6 pm. He said that the aspiring youth can contact the District Red Cross Society office for more information or assistance.
