Employees and pensioners will hold district level protests on 7-8 February: Makhan Singh Wahid Puri

Garhshankar- A meeting of Punjab Subordinate Services Federation Block Garhshankar was held in Gandhi Park under the chairmanship of Sham Sundar Kapoor. State leaders Makhan Singh Wahidpuri and Amrik Singh were specially present in the meeting. First of all, a condolence motion was presented on the untimely death of Panchayat Secretary Makhan Singh Torowal and tribute was paid to the deceased colleague.

Regarding the decisions of the meeting, Secretary Jeet Singh Bagwai said that in the context of the district level protests being held by the All State Government Employees Federation across the country against the harmful policies of the Central Government and State Governments, the Punjab Subordinate Services Federation will send a memorandum to the Central and Punjab Government due to the hunger strike and protest held at the District Secretariat Hoshiarpur on 7-8 February, after which a two-day hunger strike and protest will be held.
A large number of employees and pensioners from Garhshankar will participate in this program. Similarly, Punjab Employees and Pensioners Front will send a memorandum to the Punjab Government through all the MLAs of Punjab against the continuous neglect of the legitimate demands of the employees and pensioners by the Punjab Government. On February 17, the employees and pensioners of Garhshankar will submit their memorandum to the constituency MLA Jai Krishna Singh Rori through a collective delegation.
During the budget session of the Punjab Government, four big rallies will be organized by the employees and pensioners in Chandigarh so that the Punjab Government can be forced to accept the legitimate demands of the employees and pensioners. At this time, while strongly supporting the struggle of computer teachers, the government was demanded to immediately include these teachers in the education department and as per the promise made, the old teachers should be immediately reinstated.
Pawan Kumar, Jagdish Pakkhowal, Harpal Kaur, Harjinder Suni, Naresh Bagga, Sharmila Rani, Jaswinder Kaur, Gurnam Hajipur, Nirmal Kaur, Kashmir Kaur, Babu Parmanand, Balwant Ram, Shingara Ram Bhajjal, Balwinder Kaur Sunita Rani were present in the meeting.
