He said on this occasion that all over the world, girls are leading in every field and playing a constructive role in the society. Awareness was also given about Janani Suraksha Yojana, the law of PNDT Act and strict punishment, free treatment for girls up to five years and other facilities being run by the government.

On this occasion, suits, ryudis, peanuts were distributed to the new born daughters. While participating in the Lohri ceremony of newly born girls, he invited people to give equal opportunities and encouragement to girls to make them more empowered and successful. That they are not inferior to anyone. He said that along with parents, we all have a duty to create such an environment for girls through which they can become stronger and more successful.
