Una, October 23 - Chintpurni MLA Sudarshan Singh Bablu flagged off the first Darshan bus service of Himachal Road Transport Corporation from Mata Shri Chintpurni Bus Stand. On this occasion, he said that due to the demand of the people and the efforts of the government, this bus service has been started by HRTC to enable people to visit religious places. He said that this bus service will connect two major interstate religious places, Mata Shri Chintpurni and Khatushyam, which will greatly benefit the people. He said that even before this, Volvo bus service has also been started from Mata Shri Chintpurni to Delhi. He said that with the start of this bus service, people of Kangra, Hamirpur, Una, Solan and surrounding areas of Bilaspur will benefit from this facility.
He told that the HRTC bus running on Mata Shri Chintpurni to Khatushyam route will leave from Mata Shri Chintpurni at 4 pm and will reach Khatushyam at 8:20 am the next morning via Una-Chandigarh-Pehwa-Hisar-Sikar. He told that this bus will leave from Una at 5:40 pm, from Chandigarh at 8:40, from Pahewa at 10:50, from Hisar at 1:45 and from Sikar at 7 am for Khatushyam. He told that while returning, this bus will leave from Khatushyam at 5 pm and will reach Mat Shri Chintpurni at 7:30 am. He informed that booking of this route is available on online portal www.hrtc.hp.com . He told that this bus service is the first bus service from Himachal Pradesh to Hisar, Jhunjhunu, Sikar and Khatushyam.
Divisional Managing Himachal Road Transport Corporation Avtar Kanwar said that the one-way distance of this bus service from Mata Shri Chintpurni to Khatushyam is 722 kilometers, the total fare of which is Rs 840 per passenger. He said that apart from this, Himachal Road Transport Corporation is considering running bus services to other major places including Amritsar, Ayodhya, Mathura, Vrindavan, Rishikesh.
On this occasion, District Congress President Ranjit Rana, General Secretary Pramod Kumar, Youth Congress President Raghav Thakur, Block Congress President Ravindra Sharma, Youth Congress President Amb Shamsher Ali, SDM Amb Vivek Mahajan, RM Suresh Dhiman, Pravesh Sharma from MRC Group, Gram Panchayat Pradhan.
