Kapurthala (Paigam-E-Jagat) - As part of the series of programs being organized across the state under "Punjab Education Revolution", a modern classroom was dedicated to the students of Government Elementary School Daburji in district Kapurthala after completion of its construction. Sandeep Saini, Chairman Punjab BC Land Development and Finance Corporation Punjab was the Chief Guest in this inauguration ceremony while International Poet Kanwar Iqbal Singh, Member Punjab State Council for Science and Technology Department Chandigarh and Parwinder Singh Dhot, Architect, State Joint Secretary were the Special Guests.
In this special ceremony, a grant of Rs. 7,51,000/- was sent to the school by the Punjab Government for modern classroom for this Government School of the state. To inaugurate the works done with proper utilization, Mr. Sandeep Saini, Mr. Kanwar Iqbal Singh ji, Parwinder Singh Dhot Architect State Joint Secretary, Gurpal Bhartiya State Joint Secretary, Advocate Harpreet Kaur from Aam Aadmi Party Kapurthala, Principal Kulbir Singh, Tejbir Singh, Kapil Kumar Sonu, Gurbhej Singh Aulakh, Jagdev Thapar, Balwinder Kaur President Women Wing, Karan Dixit and various representatives of the Education Department arrived.
The Head of Government Elementary School, Mr. Pankaj Dhir welcomed the guests. After this, he informed everyone about other development works of the school and the all-round development of the students.
Since this school is English medium, students from nearby villages also come here to study. Special guest Kanwar Iqbal Singh, while talking about various educational policies of the Punjab Government and the Education Department, said that it has been the earnest effort of the government and the department to maintain a good educational environment by providing facilities to the students from time to time.
He also said that the new look of Government Elementary School Daburji shows how hardworking the teachers and students of these schools are. On this occasion, the school students also presented cultural activities and made the program even more beautiful. The chief guest of the program, Mr. Sandeep Saini said that such smart schools seem to beat even private schools.
He also said that these government schools are playing an important role in the all-round development of children and the Punjab Government is always committed to the betterment of these educational institutions. Praising the school staff, he said that every student of Government Elementary School Daburji is a computer user, which is the result of the tireless efforts of the school head Pankaj Dhir, which is a matter of great pride.
It is worth mentioning that the students of this school are adept in various methods along with chess, Rubik's Cube, Abacus, they are also taught Vedic mathematics in new ways so that they can keep pace with the times. Mr. Sandeep Saini ji praised the students for participating in sports at various levels and achieving excellence at school, block and district level.
