SAS Nagar, October 17- Periphery Milkmen Union Chandigarh Mohali protested against the demands of milkmen. The leaders said that in the past, compensation for the animals that died due to lumpy skin disease has not been given yet and compensation for crop damage during natural diseases has also not been given, on the contrary, the burden is being increased by increasing the rates of the materials used. The leaders also condemned the looting of farmers in the markets.
The leaders have demanded that a Milk Price Commission should be formed. Subsidy should be fixed for medicines used for animals. Subsidy should be arranged for purchasing animals and the shortage of DAP fertilizer and urea fertilizer for wheat cultivation should be met. The rates increased by the Central Government in fertilizers should be withdrawn.
