For the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (Board) elections, eligible voters must register their vote by filling the form by January 24.

Hoshiarpur- As per the directions of Hon’ble Gurdwara Election Commission, preliminary publication of voter lists of constituencies 111-Mukerian, 112-Dasuha, 113-Shamchurasi, 114-Hoshiarpur and 115-Garhshankar falling in Group 5 Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (Board) District Hoshiarpur has been done on 3rd January 2025 at Deputy Commissioner Office, offices of concerned Revisional Authorities/Returning Officers, all Tehsil Offices, offices of Patwaris of Patwar Circles and all notified Sikh Gurdwaras.

Hoshiarpur- As per the directions of Hon’ble Gurdwara Election Commission, preliminary publication of voter lists of constituencies 111-Mukerian, 112-Dasuha, 113-Shamchurasi, 114-Hoshiarpur and 115-Garhshankar falling in Group 5 Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (Board) District Hoshiarpur has been done on 3rd January 2025 at Deputy Commissioner Office, offices of concerned Revisional Authorities/Returning Officers, all Tehsil Offices, offices of Patwaris of Patwar Circles and all notified Sikh Gurdwaras. The voter lists are available for viewing at these locations from 3rd January. Giving information, Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that claims and objections on the draft of voter lists will be received from 3 January to 24 January 2025 in the Revising Authority of all the constituencies 111-Mukerian (SDM Mukerian), 112-Dasuha (SDM Dasuha), 113-Shamchurasi (Municipal Corporation Commissioner Hoshiarpur), 114-Hoshiarpur (SDM Hoshiarpur) and 115 - Garhshankar (SDM Garhshankar) and the received claims and objections will be settled by 5 February 2025.
He informed that the draft / supplement of the approved claims and objections will be prepared and the printing date will be done by 24 February 2025. At the same time, the last date for publication of voter lists will be 25 February 2025. The Deputy Commissioner said that if there is any clerical or printing error in the voter lists, then it should be brought to the notice of the concerned revision authority so that necessary correction can be done before the final publication. He said that the applicants/objectors should submit their claims/objections regarding the draft voter list in writing to their revision authority in person, by post or by such agent who can be approved in writing by the specified date. Only a person who is 21 years of age or above and whose name is already registered in the voter list of this constituency can file an objection.
The Deputy Commissioner has appealed to all the eligible voters of the district who have not got their vote registered till now, they must get their vote registered by filling the form by 24 January 2025. He said that for any information related to vote, Voter Helpline number 1950 can be contacted.
