The festival of Ghadri Babas will be full of plays and songs.

Jalandhar- Dedicated to Ghadri Gulab Bibi Gulab Kaur on 30,31 October and 1 November, the 34th festival of Ghadri Babas being held at Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall will spread a rainbow of delightful colors of plays and songs on the day and night of November 1. Since it is dedicated to Ghadri Gulab Kaur, this time there will be two plays on Ghadri Gulab Kaur in the festival, one during the day and one at night. In the evening, the night of plays 'Dharat Wangare Takht Nu' directed by Harkesh Chaudhary will begin with 'Tu Charkha Ghukda Rakh Jinde' written by Prof. Ajmer Singh Aulakh and directed by Dr. Ajmeet.

Apart from this, on a night full of dramas, there will be a play written by former Doordarshan director Harjit and directed by Kewal Dhaliwal, 'Sandal Bar', Mala Hashmi will present a play from New Delhi through her Jan Natya Manch troupe exposing communalism, hooliganism and government alliance. There will be a play directed by Sangeeta Gupta, Chandigarh, 'Mujhe Pankh De Do' and a play written and directed by Dr. Sahib Singh, 'Tu Agla Varka Fol'.
Gursharan Singh's play 'Rahat', which satirizes the authorities' cruel jokes on flood victims, will be performed by the ensemble and Ipta Moga avatar Charik and his friends will add a unique color, 'Bhand Aaye Mela' will be played by the 'Rela Musical Group' from Chhattisgarh, Dastak Cultural Manch (Sara), Lok Sangeet Mandali Bhadaur (Master Ram Kumar), Inqilabi Kavisri Jatha Rasoolpur (Swaran Dhaliwal and friends), Lok Sangeet Mandali Masani (Dharminder Masani), Lok Sangeet Mandali Garhdiwala (Gurpinder Singh), Ghulam Ali, Iqbal Udasi, Nargis, Ajmer Aklia and Amritpal Bange.
