The 40th National Eye Donation Fortnight was celebrated at Government High School Masitpal Kot.

Hoshiarpur:- The 40th National Eye Donation Fortnight was celebrated at Government High School Masitpal Court. During this, Eye Donor Incharge Tanda State Award Bhai Barinder Singh Maditi, Head Master Sandeep Singh Tuli and all the staff were specially present and warmly welcomed by the students.

Addressing the students on this occasion, Bhai Barinder Singh Masiti said that eye donation can be done within 4 to 6 hours of death. He said that by donating eyes, one deceased person can bring light to the dark lives of two people.
He also told them that eye donation can be done at any age. No matter whether a person's eyes have been operated on. Even if there is a lens in the eyes, eyes can be donated. Only the eyes of AIDS, jaundice, blood cancer and brain fever patients cannot be donated.
On this occasion, Headmaster Sandeep Singh Tuli, Gurcharan Singh Ram Krishan Singh, Balvir Singh, Daljit Singh, Sandeep Singh, Sandeep Kumar, Gurvinder Kaur, Ajit Kaur, Pooja Sharma, Ranjit Kaur, etc. were present, among others.
