Hoshiarpur- Keeping humanity at the forefront, the teachers of Little Kingdom International School came forward and collected Rs 1 lakh to help the people affected by the recent floods. The cheque for this assistance was handed over to Assistant Commissioner Oishi Mandal by the school representatives today.

On this occasion, Assistant Commissioner Oishi Mandal thanked the school management and teachers and said that the cooperation of all sections of the society in difficult times is very commendable. He said that this contribution made at the time of disaster will play an important role in the rehabilitation and relief work of the affected families.
He said that all the assistance received by the district administration is being delivered to the flood affected people with transparency. He appealed to other sections of the society, institutions and organizations to also contribute according to their capacity, so that no needy family is left behind.
The teachers of the school said that it is their social responsibility to stand with the victims in this hour of disaster. They assured that the school will always be ready for such activities in the future as well.
