On this occasion, Municipal Councilor of the area Mukhi Ram, International Director of Alliance Club Eli Ashok Puri, Kargil winner Captain Karnail Singh, retired coach Jhirmal Singh, retired SDE (PWD) Tarsem Singh and Sulakhan Singh, retired Superintendent of Health Department Shri Nathu Ram and 86-year-old soldier Kultar Singh Kultar of Punjabi mother tongue were specially present.
Surinder Gupta, Harjit Kumar, Deepak Kumar, Shashi Bala and Yoga Teacher Purnima had a special contribution in making ‘Plant Trees, Save Environment’ a success. After the dignitaries present on this occasion introduced themselves, mango, tahli and neem trees were planted near the water tank.
On this occasion, MC Mukhti Ram thanked the program organized by Alliance Club Hoshiarpur Greater in his ward and encouraged the Kargil winners, coaches and retired officers of this area to continue organizing such programs for awareness in the society.
International Director Eli Ashok Puri said that planting trees is not a big task, but taking care of them is the most important task which only the conscious thinkers of the area can do, for which I congratulate Ajit Nagar and Yoga Teacher Purnima and their team. He also said that planting trees is a social responsibility of man. If we plant trees, only then can our future generations live a healthy life.
On this occasion, the Alliance Club honored Captain Karnail Singh, MC Mukhti Ram, Coach Jhirmal Singh, Retired Super Damp Nathu Ram, Retired SED Tarsem Singh, Sulakhan Singh with Sirpao. After this, MC Mukhti Ram, Elly. Rajesh Kumar and Elly Ashok Kumar Puri were honored by the residents of the mohalla for organizing today's program. In the program, a 2-minute silence was observed to pay tribute to the death of Kultar Singh Kultar Ji's nephew Dr. Pradeep Singh Sethi, Associate Professor, Medical College Amritsar, in an accident. All the dignitaries expressed their concern over the increase in accidents in today's times. The special contribution of the yoga team of Ajit Nagar and their yoga coach Purnima was for the complete success of today's program.
