The free yogashalas being set up in different cities and villages of every district of Punjab are proving to be a boon for the people.

The free yogashalas being set up in different cities and villages of every district of Punjab are proving to be a boon for the people.
Giving information about this, SDM, Mohali Damandeep Kaur said that the enthusiasm and number of people in these camps is increasing day by day. People doing yoga say that even in the summer season, seeing the health benefits of yoga, they get mental peace by doing yoga regularly. By getting up early in the morning and doing yoga, they feel refreshed throughout the day and now they have made yoga asanas a part of their life.
Giving more information in this regard, SDM Mohali Damandeep Kaur said that CM Yogashala classes are being held at different places in Mohali sub-division, which people are taking full advantage of. Yoga sessions are being conducted by expert yoga instructors from morning to evening. These sessions have different timings. Yoga instructor Subhagi said that she conducts 5 yoga classes daily in Mohali.
She conducts her first class at SCL Society, Sector-70 from 6 am to 7 am, second class at Guru Har Rai Sahib Complex, Sector-67 from 7.15 am to 8.15 am, third class at Radha Krishna Mandir, Phase-2 from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm, fourth class at Hanuman Mandir Park No. 33 Phase 3B-2 from 5.15 pm to 6.15 pm and fifth class at Phase-5 Sports Club Mohali, Sector-59 from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm.
He informed that yoga teachers are giving their valuable contribution in keeping the body fit and disease free without medication through various yoga postures like asanas, pranayama and meditation. Instructor Subhagi informed that daily yoga practice has given relief to the participants from high blood pressure, back pain, physical and mental stress.
He said that if any person wants to start a class in his colony or park then at least 25 members are required and they can call/message on the WhatsApp number to start their new class/session. People are voluntarily participating in these sessions.
