Una, 7 August- Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri on Thursday conducted a field inspection of the Pandoga bridge damaged due to recent heavy rains in Una district. During this, he inspected the site with the concerned officials and got information about the progress of the repair work.

During the inspection, the Deputy Chief Minister directed the officials to complete the repair work of the bridge on a war footing with speed and high quality. He said that this bridge is the main lifeline of the area and any kind of laxity or delay in its operation will not be acceptable.
He directed the concerned departments to ensure immediate availability of all necessary machinery, material and manpower and to fully follow the safety standards.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the state government is fully committed to public interest and the speedy restoration of the Pandoga bridge is among the top priorities of the government, so that the general public does not face any inconvenience in commuting.
On this occasion, senior Congress leaders Ranjit Rana, Ashok Thakur and senior officers from Public Works Department, District Administration and Disaster Management were present.
