Patiala, October 27 - Under the welfare schemes run by the Punjab Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board for construction workers, an amount of more than 3 crore 48 thousand rupees is being given to the construction workers of Patiala and Patar sub division. This amount will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of 1674 application holders. Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni, during a meeting with the officials of the department, approved to request an amount of Rs. has given He said that the benefits of these schemes are being given to every eligible person.
     Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni said that SDM. Patiala and sub-division level committees formed under the chairmanship of Patiala proposed to provide benefits under various schemes of the board to the registered beneficiaries of the board. He said that the online submissions received by the labor inspectors under various schemes were presented before the committee members and the committee approved them.
Sakshi Sahni said that the applications received under Wazifa Scheme, LTC, Shagan Scheme, Ex Gratia Scheme, Dah Sanskar Scheme, Maternity Benefit Scheme, Mental Disease Scheme and Baladi Scheme were passed by the committee.
On this occasion, Assistant Labor Commissioner Jasbir Singh Kharod said that 1674 applications have been received under various schemes at Patiala and Patar, on which an amount of Rs. 3,00,48,000 is being released.
