Chandigarh, July 4 - A shocking incident has come to light from Bihar's Aurangabad district, where a newly married woman got her husband murdered in connivance with her brother-in-law. The deceased, who was murdered on June 24 near Navinagar railway station, has been identified as Priyanshu Kumar Singh (24 years), who had been married just 45 days before.
In the initial investigation, it appeared to be a case of contract killing, but the truth that came out of the call details and interrogation shocked everyone. The police said that the deceased's wife Gunja had an illicit relationship with her brother-in-law Jeevan Singh (52 years) for a long time. But under family pressure, Gunja was married to Priyanshu in May.
After this, Gunja and Jeevan Singh conspired to eliminate Priyanshu and to eliminate him, Jeevan Singh took the help of two shooters from Garhwa district of Jharkhand, Jaishankar Chaubey and Mukesh Sharma.
Priyanshi had called Gunja on the night of June 24 and told her location. Gunja immediately gave this information to Jeevan Singh, and then the shooters reached the spot and shot Priyanshu. The police have arrested the wife Gunja on the basis of call recording and technical evidence. He has confessed to his crime during interrogation. According to the authorities, the main conspirator Jeevan Singh is currently absconding and a search is on for him.
