S.A.S. Nagar, June 26- Local Phase 1 resident and social activist Upkar Singh has written a letter to the Municipal Corporation Commissioner demanding a solution to the problems being faced by the residents of Phase 1. In the letter, he has written that there is a problem of water supply in the HE Quarters of Phase 1 for the last one week. Due to low water pressure, water is not reaching the upper floors.
In the letter, he has demanded necessary action to improve the condition of Triveni Park located near the old barrier of Phase 1. He has written that this empty park is in a very bad condition. Due to lack of cleanliness here, there are heaps of garbage everywhere and there is a need to get it cleaned immediately.
He has written that the water motor of the government toilet built behind the Verka booth of Phase 1 has been out of order for a long time, due to which water does not rise in the tanks there and the common people have to face great inconvenience.
He has demanded that immediate attention be paid to these problems.
