New Delhi, June 21 - Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has mastered the art of sloganeering but does not provide any solutions. He claimed that despite the 'Make in India' initiative, India's manufacturing is at a record low. Rahul Gandhi met mobile repairers at Nehru Place in Delhi today.
He questioned that 'Make in India' had promised to speed up factories, so why is manufacturing at a record low, youth unemployment rate is at a high and imports from China have more than doubled? Rahul Gandhi said on X, 'Modi ji comes to give slogans, but does not provide solutions. Since 2014, the manufacturing rate of our economy has fallen by 14 percent.'
Rahul Gandhi alleged that Modi ji has surrendered without new ideas. The PLI scheme, which was so much publicised, is now being quietly withdrawn. Gandhi said that India needs a fundamental change, which empowers millions of consumers through honest reforms and financial support.
He said, ‘We have to stop being a market for others. If we do not manufacture here, we will keep buying from those who have manufactured. Time is running out.’ Gandhi has also shared a video of his meeting and interaction with mobile repair technicians at Nehru Place in Delhi.
