
Street construction work started in ward number 23, development will be done at a cost of Rs 11 lakh.
Hoshiarpur- Fulfilling the long-standing demand of the local people in ward number 23 of the city, MLA Brahmashankar Jimpa today inaugurated the construction work of the street near Bharaj Hospital. This street is being built at a cost of about Rs 11 lakh, which will provide better transportation facilities to the people of the area and will provide relief from the years old dilapidated condition.

On this occasion, MLA Jimpa said that the Punjab government is continuously making efforts for the all-round development of Hoshiarpur. He said that the Municipal Corporation has done various development works in the city at a cost of about Rs 40 crore, in which the expansion of streets, roads, sewerage, street lights and public facilities is prominent.
The MLA said that it is his priority to develop Hoshiarpur city as clean, modern and according to the needs of the people. He also assured that development works will be done in every ward of the city without any discrimination and the problems of the people will be resolved in a timely manner.
He said that providing the benefits of government schemes to the common people is his main priority and under this thought, he is working on the needs of the city every day.
On this occasion, Mayor Surinder Kumar, Deputy Mayor Ranjita Chaudhary, Councillors Manmeet Kaur Tuli, Ruby Tuli, Satwant Singh Sian, Amarjit Singh, Sagar, Gaurav Sharma and Bahadur Singh Sunet were also present.
