Hoshiarpur- A seminar on Entrepreneurship was organized by the School of Management and Commerce of Rayat Bahra Professional University. This program was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Harinder Singh Gill, Head of Department Dr. Parul Khanna and Head of Guest Lecture Committee Dr. Damanpreet Kaur.
The keynote speaker at the seminar was Dr. BB Goyal, Senior Professor, University Business School, Panjab University, Chandigarh. He explained the basics of entrepreneurship to the students. He said that in entrepreneurship, it is important to take risks, adopt new ideas and make them successful.
Dr. Goyal advised the students to improve their skills, change themselves with time and not be emotional while taking decisions. He described ethics, patience and hard work as the keys to success.
He also talked about challenges like financial constraints, market competition and uncertainty and suggested ways to overcome them.
Finally, the department thanked Dr. Goyal. On this occasion, students as well as teachers of the department were present.
