Number of active corona cases in India crosses 5000

New Delhi, June 6- According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Friday, the number of active Covid cases in India has crossed the 5,000 mark. Kerala is the worst-affected state, followed by Gujarat, West Bengal and Delhi. In view of the increase in cases, the Centre is conducting mock drills to check the preparedness of facilities for Covid-19.

New Delhi, June 6- According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Friday, the number of active Covid cases in India has crossed the 5,000 mark. In view of the increase in cases, the Centre is conducting mock drills to check the preparedness of facilities for Covid-19.
All states have been directed to ensure availability of oxygen, isolation beds, ventilators and essential medicines in view of the increasing number of corona cases. There are 5,364 active cases in India and four have been registered in the last 24 hours.
Official sources have said that most of the cases are mild and are being managed under home care. Since January this year, 55 deaths have been reported in the country.
