Garhshankar, June 2- A delegation led by Sanskrit Bharati, Punjab President Dr. Virendra Kumar met Governor Gulab Chand Kataria at Punjab Raj Bhavan today. Dr. Virendra said that Sanskrit Bharati is constantly striving to increase awareness about Sanskrit language in the state and ensure its progress.
In this regard, the Governor was discussed about the spread of Sanskrit education and providing more opportunities to Sanskrit students. Sanskrit Bharati also proposed some specific measures for the progress of Sanskrit language, which the Governor took seriously and assured positive action in this direction.
Deep Chand Gupta, Dr. Ravi Dutt Kaushik, Co-Minister Punjab Ajay Kumar Arya and Patiala Co-Department Convenor Dr. Oman Deep Sharma were also present on the occasion. This initiative of Sanskrit Bharati, Punjab is likely to give a new direction to the promotion of Sanskrit language in the state, which will increase the scope of Sanskrit education and it will reach all the people.
